Making the work happen
Sarah is a New York-based theatre artist and graduate from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned her BFA in Theatre, with a focus on acting and playwriting.
During her time at NYU, Sarah studied with Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, developing a strong background in the creation of new and devised work, and has studied playwriting in both New York and London. Sarah also studied with The Classical Studio, training extensively in Shakespearean verse and performance.
Currently, Sarah co-runs and serves as the Creative Producer for the Hudson Valley Performing Arts Laboratory, a company based in Poughkeepsie, New York, that provides accessible opportunities to engage with the performing arts through affordable educational programming and the creation of new and ensemble-based work.
In her free time, Sarah reads fairy tales and gets really fired up about Shakespearean tragedies.
